I haven’t been well for a while and I finally got up the courage to go to the gp he has ordered a crap tonne of blood tests but he said he main ones he wants to do are thyroid and celiac disease? Because I had low potassium when I was in hospital a couple of months ago.

I did have a thyroid function test about 2 years ago and I looked it up in my online record out of interest but it was normal it just says it’s 0.84

I was just wondering if 0.84 is a good level! I have googled it but I have confused myself even more so I thought I would ask here!

No idea about the celiac I do have some stomach troubles but no one has ever mentioned that to me before!

If that’s the TSH level then yes that’s a pretty perfect score... there are other thyroid markers like T4 but TSH is the one they usually look at. TSH shows how hard the thyroid need to be stimulated to produce the right amount of T4, so a low number is good, IYSWIM

Yeah it depends what it is. I have an underactive thyroid so have some understanding. But it depends if its TSH T4 or T3
