Skin peeling on big toe

It's been going on a while, my skin is peeling off my big toe but in large strips of skin. It's really bad on my right one and it's starting to happen on my left, any ideas?

Looks like just dry skin. Plenty of water and moisturiser.

OH MY GOSH. Did you ever figure this out?! This could be a photo of my feet - I'm not even kidding you. I went to the Dr. and she said it's just the way I walk? There has to be something more going on here....

I had this happen randomly one time, it then happened a few years later. As pp suggested, I just upped my water, moisturised and gently used a foot file. It was years ago -& a lot worse than the op’s photo- it’s never happened since.

Omg this isn’t just me mine does it to and it is really starting to hurt. My left toe doesn’t do it as much or as painfully but my right is very bad. It peeled of to the point it was bleeding did you figure out what’s really causing it?

DaisyMay25 · 16/04/2023 18:48

I never saw these replies! No I never figured it out, it only ever comes on one foot and just on my big toe. It hurts too! As if it's been grated 🤢

Hey not sure if you got this figured out yet but this happens to me after i go in a pool and it’s not very new/the floor is not smooth

I get the same thing and it is so annoying. I can never figure out what causes it. It happens mostly on the right big toe, but can happen on the left one too. I'm curious to know if you ever find out what the cause is. 😁
