What is this annoying tingling on my scalp???

Have had this wierd tingling sensation on the right hand side of my scalp for about 3 days now. Its just a small circle of pins and needles. Not sore but really annoying. Does anyone know what it is?

ditto towards back of my neck!! I wonder is it a wierd virus thingy hopefully it will run it's course and promptly leave. my comes and goes

I had that I think when shingles was starting.

Yeah mine isn't there all the time either but its on the top of my head. Its so irritating!! Just want to keep rubbing at it all the time. Its as if my hair is sitting the wrong way IYKWIM - Strange!!!

I had something a bit like this,but you've reminded me that it's gone now.
It was more of an intermittent electric shock lasting about 3 seconds that I had to rub better.
Haven't had it for a few months now though.

Had a headache on that whole side of my head yesterday and a bit of earache. Could it be a migraine type thing?

I had shingls and it started like that

Strange i always thought shingles appeared on your body - obviously not. Did you have this sensation in your scalp too then?
