Presume this is arthritis? My index finger has been particularly painful recently..

What supplements can I take to help please? Realise I probably should have done this a while ago! I’m 58.

It could be but you would need X-ray & possibly ultrasound to confirm.I have arthritis in wrists and fingers.
The OT gave me some finger sleeves, which had a gel pad inside, for support when mine is really painful, it does really help.

I also bought this type of thing which does help too.

The OT said to be mindful of using hands and make sure they are supported doing tasks to protect, and slow down progression but easier said than done! The Dr also prescribes me naproxen to take when things are really bad.

Thank you that’s really helpful. X
