Is this a new mole or a spot?

Hi just wondered if anyone had anything like this before? I thought it was a black spot but i can't pop it's like a raised mole type of thing but it's black so i'm not sure if it is a mole? By the way this is on me (mum) not my baby X

What happens if you try to knock the head off it?

I am not advising it though, is it like a blood blister, has it been flat before?

In that case it deffo needs a GP check.

It does look unusual. I'm sure it will be fine but I'd get that looked at by a GP.

it physically won't like ive tried that's what makes me think maybe skin tag or mole x

If you've been tugging it a bit, maybe it bled and that's why it's gone black. I've been rough with skin tags like that before and they did go black and drop off.

If it just looks like that, I'd go to GP. Our surgery is doing phone appointments in the first instance and asking for photos of things they need to look at.
