Tender breasts

Hi. For the last maybe 5 days I've noticed my breasts are feeling tender, not near the nipple, but at the side. So as to have all necessary info here, I have large breasts anyway (34ff/g), but they have definitely got bigger over the last year... I've put on weight over lockdown. I started my period today but I'm not usually sore or tender in the slightest. I've just turned 40. I also suffer from anxiety so now worried this is sinister, but there are no lumps or dimpling of skin at all.
Should I worry? Is this normal? Any ideas what is going on?

My peri started at 40 and my breasts were so sore, which I had never experienced, even whilst pregnant. Thank god HRT put an end to it.

I have been suffering similar. Breasts sore on and off all month. Doesn’t always feel related to menstrual cycle. Bad anxiety here too so always think the worst. Have always had sore breasts before periods but this feels like it’s happening much more often.
