Two years ago I ended up with a kidney abscess I was in extreme pain in my left kidney went to a&e 5 times each time they refused to scan and kept telling me I just needed to persevere with antibiotics. By the time someone took pity and did a scan I had a large abscess on my kidney I spent 2 weeks as an inpatient and then daily Iv antibiotics for a week after they scanned when the course finished and said it had left quite the scar on my kidney and any signs of a uti will need to be managed quickly with antibiotics. Today I’m getting quite a bit of pain in my right kidney no fever yet but this is similarly how it started before in the hole time I had the abscess last time it never burnt or felt hot to pee Hmm I’m wondering with out a fever and in this Covid nightmare and the fact my gps closed on Saturdays is it a 111 thing is there even emergency drs would I have to go to a&e tomorrow ?

Interestingly I had my Covid jab Wednesday it couldn’t be a strange side effect could it ?

Not asking for medical advise just wondering how to proceed if the pain continues tomorrow ?
