Week long ECG

I recently noticed that I had a very low heart rate, at times down to 30 bpm, and was sent to A&E by 111.
After assessment and some tests & ECGs, they were happy to let me go home, but triggered all sorts of other tests. One of them was a 24h ECG, which was inconclusive, so I will now have a week long one.

My very silly question is: Could I take it off for a shower? With the 24h one, they say not to, but I can't imagine going a week without a shower. On the other hand, that might just make people keep their 2m distance ;)

Has anyone had a week long ECG and could tell me?

Just on a side note: I picked up the low heart rate on the oximeter I bought a few months ago, I was positively surprised that they took me seriously and acted so quickly.
I am also undergoing investigation for a hereditary heart condition my sister has in another hospital, and there, everything moves at a snail's pace, further slowed down by the pandemic, so it was really nice to find out that things can move fast, too.

I had one and was allowed to take it off to shower. They gave me spare sticky pads in case they came off. I also wrote the colour of the leads on my skin next to the pad so I could connect it back up again properly. Hope all goes well.

I had one for 5 days. They provided spare stickers so I could take it off to shower each day. I took a photo before I took it off to make sure I got it back correctly!

Thank you both Smile

I know it is a completely shallow question, but I haven't gone anywhere near that long without a shower since my last summer camp in the 90's
