Small lump in left breast just below the nipple

I've never noticed it before. Not knowing much about breast cancer, is this something I should get checked out? I always thought cancer lumps were generally to the side. What do they feel like? This is like a pea that moves around a bit.

It varies breast cancer can appear as a lump, or thickening, or a pulling on the skin. It is best to get it checked out.

I would always get any sort of lump or unusual sympton checked just to be on the safe side tbh.

Agree - see the doc about any lump however innocent

Is it painful? I had a lumg in the same sort of area a few years, and the fact that it was tender was judged to be a 'good' thing. It turned out to be nothing serious. You should definitely get it checked out though.

It sounds like a fibroadenoma, i've had loads of them, they are completely benign and never turn malignant. Def get it checked out but it doesn't sound like anything sinister. Don't be alarmed if they do a needle biopsy, it's just procedure.
