My weird shaped skull!!??

I posted this in AIBU but I just realised there’s a health board too so maybe best posting here!! I’ve copied the post exactly and changed a typo I made in my AIBU post (I accidentally put 2cm instead of 1)

Really random but does anyone else have a giant groove/dent down the middle of their skull? Mine runs from the top of my head down to the base of my skull and is about 1cm deep- I only felt it by chance and now I can’t stop feeling it I’ve asked my friends & family but nobody else has anything like this does anyone have any idea what this is??? And more importantly, is it normal??? I know nobody has a perfectly round head but this isn’t a small bump or groove, it’s a deep vertical dent.

Just looking to see if anyone else has this or if I should be worried!! On the AIBU post, a few people mentioned it could be where my skull fused as a baby, but I don’t know if it’s normal, albeit unusual, or if it’s actually a problem??

I agree with the others, it's likely where your skull fused early. My son had the opposite, a ridge.
If you have no headaches or health issues relating to it I'd not worry about it.

I have this! My hairdresser always used to comment and it made me self conscious but it's all under my hair of course so you can't see it. DH had a huge weird out when I got him to feel it a few years ago and even my mum was baffled. Mine is deeper than 1cm and right at the top/back point of my skull. Weird. I figured it's been like this as long as I've been aware since probably teenage years, I've had MRIs to investigate headaches a couple of years ago and nothings ever been said so I figure I just have a weird shaped head!
