I've always had a weak back but this is just awful. Gardening yesterday has done something.

I couldn't physically walk last night and today its fine when I lie and don't move. I have got up twice but it's agony in certain positions.

I physically can't get in a car and am 6 weeks pg so really don't know what do to. I can't take ibuprofen.

I think I've torn something but could really do with some advice. Is it better to rest or keep trying to move?

Ouch!

Take paracetamol, call a physio ASAP

Feminax ultra contains naproxen - which is why the doctors give you for a bad back - bit I’m not sure if it’s recommended when pregnant.

Go and see a chiropractor or see if one will come to you. Ice pack and painkillers until you can see someone.

idontlikealdi · 22/03/2021 13:53

Naproxen.

Don't battle through it's not worth it. Call the GP they should be able to send a prescription and clarify its ok for pg. I had it at 20 weeks when my pelvis fell apart.

Thank you. I don't think I can go anywhere though once I'm up, I can't sit I can just crawl back into the bed. I'm just about to try to get up again 😩

Paracetamol is all I can take I think.

Speak to your GP about pain relief. Whilst NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naxpronen) aren’t recommended in pregnancy, they are usually safer in early pregnancy. Codeine is also an option if considered that the benefits outweigh the the risks.

I phoned 111 this morning. I nearly fainted with the pain. Dp had to push me to the bathroom on his office chair 😂

I've got codiene and the gp I spoke to thinks I've pulled something.

I'm definitely seeing someone when I can get in a car.
