Buscopan....IBS?

Been having symptoms of IBS for few months. Not made an appointment with GP yet as it's not really bad and I've had it a while. Bought some Buscopan today to see if that helps but on packet it says only for medically confirmed IBS. Would I be ok to take one?

Yes I take it for gall bladder pain and even cramps. It's fine to take.

But still get a gp appointment for a proper diagnosis as could be a number of things not necessarily IBS

It's fine to take,but the point of the warning us to ensure all other possibilities of illness are ruled out first

My 13 year old has diagnosis of IBS and takes it if necessary
