dd2 is was 4 in August. She snores so loud that she can be heard from the next room, and sometimes further.
Dh was looking in her throat the other day and said she had huge tonsils. Could there be a link and is there any cause for concern.
She is also very nasaly when she speaks.
Thanx

Get her to GP who will refer to ENT specialist for an opinion if needed. Is it nasal conjestion which is causing her to mouth breathe? you could try Otriviene nasal decongestion drops for a couple of nights and see if drying up her nose improves things. This is only recommended as a short term measure. I would get her seen, could be adenoids.

Hi, thanx for your reply. I had wandered if it could have been her adenoids. I had to have mine removed when I was about her age. Apparently I also snored very loudly and talked through my nose. I'm not sure the otriviene will work if it's only meant as a short term measure. Her snoring isn't a new thing, has been going on for a long time.
