throbbing pain up my spine

Has anyone experienced this? It lasts less than a minute, and doesn't happen very often, maybe twice a week. It is very painful but completely goes away. It goes right up my spine to my neck.

I'm 37 weeks pregnant so assumed it is related to that, but my midwife was not familiar with this happening in pregnancy. It's been happening for a couple of months.

@AntiHop if it's on happened in your pregnancy is could be SPD - Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction. Hormones are realeased to loosen the tendons and ligaments in your hips in preparation for birth.

Im very surprised that your midwife hasn't mentioned/familar with this.

Is it bearable without painkillers? If not talk to her about what you could take.

I don't think it's spd @nolovelost
It's only in my spine area, right up to my neck, so I don't think that fits with spd.
