When they put the post in, do you get a temporary put on the crown ? Am due to have 2 teeth done and will need temps put in when the gum heals after extraction, but that wouldn't fit when the post is in would it ?

Hi, I had an implant completed in November. You don't get a crown, you get a temporary denture. They're not particularly nice or comfortable and I ended up not using it. Which tooth is it?

The canine right at the front and one next to it so will need something

I'm in the process of having an implant now, you get a temporary denture. It does the job but isn't great.

The temporary denture isn't the best but it's better than nothing. Takes a while to get used to it. I ended up taking it out when I was at home but using it when I was out and about. I hated having the gap, but am so delighted with the end result, the implant feels and looks just like a regular tooth. So glad I had it done.
