Headaches help

I feel really pathetic writing this but I am in bed crying with a headache. I've been getting them more since starting an immuno suppressant and I am on an anti depressant which is known to cause them but they had settled before I started the immuno suppressant iyswim. I can't stop the immuno suppressant as it's basically keeping me alive in the long term and it's a low dose anyway. I got the headaches under control in the month but it is just before my period that the headache is still a problem.

It feels like a golf ball behind my eye and now it's just all over my head. I wonder if its sinusitis. Paracetool does not touch it. I feel nauseous. Even walking hurts my head. Its like a grip around my head.

Sorry long description, please help for pain relief suggestions for this kind of headache?

Migraleave? The pink ones. Also codeine works for me.

Whatever you take I would max out to the safe dose until it's gone. Eg max paracetamol daily.

Thanks will get some migraleve in the morning. Hopefully its OTC. Pain is keeping me up :(

I feel for you, OP. It’s awful. I get migraines and insomnia-related headaches and while paracetamol doesn’t do much alone, adding ibuprofen takes the edge off. Have you had your eyes checked?

Hi, if you think it might be sinus related, seriously consider buying a saline sinus rinse bottle. I got one recently and despite feeling really reluctant as I thought it would hurt and be a disgusting experience (it was neither of those!), it has cured my chronic winter headache in just a few uses. I now recommend it to everyone but I can see people are as reluctant as I was for the same reasons. Worth a try though, it may be your saviour for £10
