Valve replacement surgery - any experiences?

Hello everyone,

So DH needs this op due to an infection & I just wanted an idea of what to expect. Obviously due to covid I can't be with him so it's harder to get info. If the valve can't be repaired he has chosen a mechanical replacement as he's 42.
