Dimpling in Breast

Hello

I've been referred to the breast clinic as I've had constant pain (not excruciating more like a dull ache) in my left breast and under my armpit for 3 weeks, my GP found an small lump on the top part of my breast which is round and since that appointment I've also found a hard lump about an inch below my nipple and its deeper. My GP thought she spotted a rash however I wasnt convinced, I'm 33 and I've also noticed dimpling in the lower part of my breast and I've taken a picture but my husband couldnt see anything, before I drive myself nuts ahead of my clinic appointment in a week I wanted to see if anyone else could see it or had a similar experience or am I over analysing? Sorry I think it makes me feel better putting it in writing as I dont want my husband to start worrying!

No advice but wanted to bump for you. Waiting is often the hardest part in these situations, I hope it goes quick for you Flowers

I’ll join you in the 2WW - I’m seeing the clinic in a fortnight. I’m a couple of years older than you but I have a family history of BC so am a regular at the breast clinic. At your age the odds are overwhelmingly in your favour, almost all of the lumps and bumps they see are nothing to worry about, but you absolutely did the right thing seeing the dr and it’s the right thing to be checked out. Try not to think about it too much and worry about it when the time comes. The clinic team are always really nice and friendly. And they always say that pain is a good sign because most breast cancer is painless.

My breast clinic appointment is tomorrow morning, like you I've had pain for about 6 weeks now, I can't feel a lump but the doc said she could feel quite a few.
I'm so scared, the pain comes from a specific area almost behind my breast and after a look on Google I've convinced myself it's in my rib too.

Hopefully we'll all get good news.

My friend has yearly mammograms because of family history and she has a lot of cysts, sometimes if they get quite big they're painful so the clinic drains them.
Fingers crossed any pain is related to something simple like that.

I've been given the all clear, there were no lumps at all despite my doctor saying she could feel "multiple".
The consultant said the pain is coming from my ribs and probably costochondritis, he also said that breast cancer is hardly ever painful.

Great news! I’m glad to hear it! Meant to send you encouragement this morning but the day got away from me!
