Matcha recommendations?

I'm wanting to replace my coffee but still need an energy boost. What's a food matcha to try? Something reasonable and hassle free with a nice taste.

Matcha, at least the real stuff, needs to be frothed and its taste is quite unique. I don't mind a matcha latte, but giving up my coffee for it is never going to happen.

What is your issue with coffee? It increases longevity ...

No matcha tastes nice

I'm both a bit bored of coffee and finding it too high caffeine- I'm reading that matcha is lower and has other benefits... it looks nice!

Then give it a try. Good matcha is quite expensive so buy a small amount to see if you like it.

I drink both, but keep coffee down to 1 in the morning and sometimes 1 at lunchtime (from around 6 cups a day). Do feel better for it tbh. With the matcha, you need to get a decent one and some of them can smell (and taste) quite 'grassy'. My favourite is purechimp with lemongrass. I also add a dash of rosewater.

Should say that I drink both without milk, so just mix the matcha with hot water and use a little hand whisk to froth it. Daughter uses oat milk in hers

Thankyou! I don't take milk either but the rosewater sounds lovely

make sure you get food grade rosewater.

Iced matcha tea is also lovely
