Problem piles!

So basically I gave birth last summer (June 2020) to my first son. I had a really long labour (approx 44 hours). Anyway I ended up mega constipated after my son's birth and before long I started experiencing pain when going for a poop 💩. Sorry to anyone if this is TMI!

I've been to the doctor's and they examined my bottom and told me I have 2 external piles. They've given me suppositories and cream on numerous occasions , but the pain is still there every time I go to the loo and sometimes I end up feeling sore all day and struggle to sit down. I've found the suppositories and cream only help with the soreness. I can probably only manage a few day's in a month without pain and then it returns.

I've been referred, but I'm going to be waiting ages to see a specialist. They said the wait pre Covid-19 was around 22 weeks!

I just wondered if anyone else is in a similar situation?
