Red spot at blood test site?

Had a blood test yesterday, nurse seemed very young so I suspect new.

For the first time after a blood test I’ve got some bruising, but I’m curious as to what the red dot is? I thought scabbing but I didn’t expect it to be bright red.

Anyone else had this before?

Normal- it’s a tiny scab where the needle went in.

Thanks all. That’s reassuring! I have a history of severe phobia when it comes to blood tests, I got over the fear during pregnancy (no choice!) but I still have a mini panic if something out of the norm happens.
