Anyone go to a chiropractor

I've had mild scoliosis since a teenager but only recently I have been having mild, uncomfortable back ache. I have seen a spinal surgeon who said the scoliosis shouldn't cause back ache and there is nothing they can do about it.

Would a chiropractor help and what happens (does it hurt!) and roughly how much does it cost. Thanks

hmm, i've never been to one and different people have different opinions on them. Physios, chiropracters and osteopaths all seem to claim to cure the same issues by different means, and in my experience have quite strong opinions about each other's practices! The going rate round here seems to be £60 for initial consultation and £35-40 for each follow-up appointment.
