Constant UTIs and incontinence since childbirth

My DD is 7.5 and since her birth I've had terrible urge incontinence and frequent UTIs there was nothing wrong before then . Not so much stress I don't leak when I cough or sneeze. I've been to see a specialist who says they can't see anything wrong my bladder is so uncomfortable all the time and its been this way for so long.
Ive just had my third lot of antibiotics this year which gives a bit of relief but now I'm wearing incontinence underwear again and in pain.

Can any mums advise me what it could be where I could get a second opinion?

Have you seen a women’s physio ?

Dingdong99 · 15/03/2021 21:00

Could it be a prolapse? Do you have a heavy dragging feeling down there?

evelynina · 15/03/2021 21:28

I was checked for prolapse and female GP says I don't have one. I'm thinking of getting a second opinion honestly I feel awful .

No advice other than to go back to GP and push for further investigations or second opinion. But wanted to say poor you. 7.5 years you've had this, that is awful and you must feel drained and wretched.

I second seeing a women's physio, it might be well worth it. They know the anatomy and pelvic floor very well. They will detect if it's in any way muscular or due to a slight prolapse.

Definitely go back to the doctor

And I in the interests of getting you to see someone ASAP, rather than wait for a referral could you pay for a private assessment with a women's health physio? Not sure where you are but in London this would be around £60

Sorry you are going thru this, I've had similar problems and it's miserable at times and messes with you mentally but I'm sure you will get sorted xx

Actually if you wanted to just do a zoom Assessment to talk it all thru with my physio, she would charge £45 I believe

PM me if you'd like her details
