Peri menopause BMS

Does anyone else have Burning Mouth Syndrome? Is it the beginning of the perimenopause? I'm 39.

I had it the year before last but mine was mild, it actually felt more like prickly pins and needles on the roof of my mouth and back of throat (like popping candy!) than a burning sensation but this is still a form or BMS apparently and dentist confirmed this - I'm 49. It seems to have gone now, it was most odd and made me feel quite anxious at the time. Confused
