I’ve fallen over, bruised tooth?

I’ve done the most stupid thing and fallen over, landed on my face, big bruise and cuts on my face but really worried about teeth, one of my front bottom tooth has been chipped, tiny chip in the corner and not really obvious but my front upper tooth feels a bit odd, not wobbly, just sensitive to pressure a little, not pain as such. I am terrified of dentist and having panic attacks about the tooth, read about bruised teeth and really panicking that my tooth is going to die, and terrified of any treatment. Over reacting big time probably, is it likely to just settle down without any damage?

Ooh, ouch. Poor you. Google is probably not your friend! Do you have a dentist? If you can you should try and let someone look at the bruised feeling tooth.
Goodluck.

This happened to me once, it was horrible. I was away from home when it happened, went to the dentist a few days after who said to just watch and wait. In my case the tooth was even a bit wobbly. But it did heal and 20 years later it's still there!

I did the same....about 6 years ago now! Fell flat on my face. Front tooth felt bruised and sensitive....it still does on a lesser scale all the years later!! .....but it's never ever been really painful, just sensitive. Never been able to bite into an apple or crusty baguette for example. Dentist said it would slowly die and I'd probably need root canal treatment on it.....but 6 yrs on that hasn't happened!!...just persistent low grade discomfort that has never really worsened.

Well for once I feel this post is right up my street as I have been at the dentist every week for the last 6 weeks.
I don’t like dentists but the pain I had in my back upper right teeth was just unbearable .
I have a wisdom tooth extraction and root canal treatment .
I’m grateful it was the wisdom tooth.
So I would highly recommend that OP books herself in for a emergency appointment as it’s her front tooth .

Well been to the dentist, checked nerves and roots and all ok, may be a hairline crack in the tooth, just watch and wait now, still worried sick, been a week since accident

Well done for going to the dentist when you were so nervous.
I seem to have cracks on teeth. They have been on watch for years! Touch wood hanging on in there! Hopefully, your tooth will keep going strong!
