Can gallbladder cause this?

I have a mild throbbing ache under my right shoulder blade - it lasts 20mins or so then goes away for a while and then returns a few hours later. I’m also intermittently tender just below the breastbone and to the right just below rib and again it mildly throbs for a bit then goes away. It’s been present for about a week just coming and going..no acute pain so just an irritation at the moment. I thought gallbladder attacks were usually severe, short and sharp as it were....does it occasionally grumble on like this too? Obvs will go to gp but it’s not urgent at the mo and I’m just wondering what the possibilities are.... TIA for any knowledge!!

Blimeyoreilly the gall bladder is a possibility as it doesn’t always present with severe pain. I’ve been told I have gallstones but never had any symptoms apart from occasional indigestion. Obviously you’ll know more when you speak to your GP.

All my gallbladder pain was in the same place on my back

I’m interested in this as I’m getting something similar!

Sounds pretty textbook to me.
I have gallstones and sludge. It's amazing how many symptoms gallbladder issues can cause. I don't get very many full blown attacks (heart attack but on right side with pain going from centre of breastbone right round back and up into jaw) but usually a dull ache.
Am guessing the OP is sorted now but @Bettyblue123, definitely worth investigating.
