So cold!

So for the past 48/72 hours, I've been FREEZING. Like, painfully cold. I'm 39, good general health, cutting down on anti depressant meds and on flecainide for ectopic HB but fairly well controlled (I have to mess about with the dose at times). This past little while I've been so cold that last night I slept the night with my heated blanket on full. Usually I would be sweating at the mere thought of this.

What the hell? I'm currently sitting in front of the fire absolutely cold to the bone...

Ohh bless you,
Are you anaemic at all or have you been tested for it?
I often get like this when my iron levels fall too low.

WinoLino · 05/03/2021 22:31

Haven't been tested for anything for at least a couple of years. Feel bad to burden the GP with this but might see how I go. It's a horrible feeling, like my bones are cold. My children are being very sweet, keep saying "are you warm yet mummy?" 😩

I'm currently under my heated blanket again after sitting in front of the fire and falling asleep.

Thank you for your reply!

I was bloody freezing when I had covid. Days and days of being so cold to the bone that I was shivering all the time.

Hope it isn't but if this is v unusual and sudden then maybe worth a test?

Downthefarm · 05/03/2021 23:50

Covid, possibly.

WinoLino · 06/03/2021 00:11

Hmm good shout, I'll do a test. 😬

Hope you feel better today.

Aww thank you. I had some visual disturbance earlier which was worrying but only lasted about 5-10 mins. Not sure that it's necessarily connected but never had it before...
