I had my gall bladder out on friday after 2 and a half weeks in hospital. Im finally home to my new baby girl and DD1. I am sore and very tired.
No major problems apart from a fit when in recovery
None of my clothes fit me, I guess it was the easiest way to lose baby weight but wish it hadnt been so painful
Thanks to all that helped with drugs list and breast feeding advice (well more like pumping advice)

Lisa

Welcome home Lisa

lisad123 · 06/11/2007 11:15

I spent the time in there pumping and dumping. She had to go home with DH after 3 days as i got too sick
Starting feeding her last night, but not got full flow yet as had to top up 2 hours later
Funny though, one of the midwifes made me promise to ring HV when i got home she said im a good candidate for PMD now Hoping i dont have that to deal with too.

Thanks for all good wishes

You've been through a hell of a lot lisa, it would be no surprise if you found the next few days and weeks a bit of a struggle. Do accept any and every bit of help offered, and spend as much time as you can snuggled up with dd feeding her as often as you can

lisad123 · 06/11/2007 14:58

Im not planning to over do it at all. Today im at my mums being looked after and have friends coming in next week
