Hi. I take half a tablet once a week, for the same reason, and happily have no issues to report.

weehoo · 07/03/2021 00:00

I took it for years with no side effects that I can remember.

Are you planning/hoping to get pregnant?

I started taking it at the age of 38 and conceived at ages 41 and 44

I think it was pretty quick - had regular blood tests so that they could adjust the dose as necessary. Do you know what your prolactin levels were/are?

Mine were in the thousands then were lowered to the 400-700 area through drugs

Coco12ha · 11/03/2021 14:22

Mine was 6000 in December got my meds yesterday so don't know if it lowered I forgot to ask doctors how soon will I get my period back

Do they plan to follow up and check your levels? How old are you?

okokok000 · 12/03/2021 00:33

Was prescribed it after a round of ivf which was cancelled due to hyperstimulation. Take the tablet just before bed if you can. It really messed with my blood pressure.

Coco12ha · 12/03/2021 11:43

@weehoo my follow up is in June they said for a blood test
