The ED board is fairly quiet.
I am not doing too fantastically.
I do not know what to put on an online consultation so I’m biting the bullet & I’m gonna call the gp tomorrow.

Will “mental health” be acceptable for a reason for an appt? I really don’t want to explain my life history to a receptionist. Especially when it’s a delicate subject at the moment.

Thanks.

Mental Health is definitely a good reason for an appointment. It is equally as important as your physical health. This pandemic really has a put on strain on services at the expense of people's psychological well being. I totally agree. It's a pain telling receptionists your life story, but unfortunately, they are obliged to ask so that you see the right person.
Please take care and hope that you get an appointment soon.

If you're going to find the call tricky, maybe try a phew phrases out loud so you can say them if needed - one being "I'm not really comfortable discussing that now". "I'd prefer to talk to the doctor about that" "I can't answer that as it might upset me"

I’m not sure why I’ve only just got an email notification but I ended up doing an online consultation cause I didn’t get up in time to call. We semi have a plan now.
