Dh is having fairly standard pre-diabetic symptoms (but could be something else):
Drinking gallons of water - without it gets terrible headaches
Exhausted
Terrible feet - cracked/dry/sunken toenails/bleeding
Blood sugar crashing and shaking
He is thin and fit. Type 2 Diabetes runs in his family. This has been going on for years - typical bloke, has to get it really bad before going to docs.
He had a blood test earlier and the nurse said to him he could have had his breakfast as they don't do fasting blood tests - just compare to an average
But they're not testing him again - so comparing him to a population average ?
Any medics help me understand this ?
