Underarm feels bruised/sore

Gazelda · 28/02/2021 21:03

It feels sensitive, achy, bruised. I feels uncomfortable to lift.
Breast on same side feels sensitive too.
It's been like this all day.
I was wearing an uncomfortable underwired bra yesterday - do you think this has caused it?

I wore a non-underwired bra today but it feels no better.
I have to go into work tomorrow but my boobs are too big to go bra-less 😢
Please reassure me this isn't anything to worry about.

Bump. It's still hurting today.
Anyone got any words of wisdom/reassurance?

No idea but I had the exact same thing a few days ago. It's a little sensitive now but not so much. Very odd.

If you're at all under the weather it could be a swollen lymph node - I often get them if I have a cold?

PointersPlease · 01/03/2021 16:20

Have you're recently had a COVID jab? It's causing a bit of lymph nodes tenderness for some people.

I get slight under arm pain sometimes, and also general breast pain and discomfort on the side. It comes and goes, normally roughly in line with my period

Thanks for your replies.
I'm feeling fine other than this issue. Had 1st covid jab 8 weeks ago so I don't think it's that. I'm past menopause, so I don't think it's hormonal.
But I'm reassured that none of you are mentioning cancer. I was catastrophising and jumping to the extreme conclusion!
