This may be TMI but i need some advice regarding sex............

DH and i are now TTC. This is the first time either of us have had sex without a condom and i am a bit concerned about ... well... leakage! After he had 'done the deed' as it would be i found half of it on the bed! is this normal???? Thanks in advance.

Yep - when we were ttc I used to stick a cushion under my bum and stay put for 20 mins or so after though to give the little fellas a chance to get up there as gravity takes hold after you stand up!

get a pillo w and shove it under your bum and sit with your pelvis tilted up

or lie on yr side in the same postion

when we were trying, I used to put my legs up the wall after the deed to try and keep it in..... Not very romantic but necessary I thought in the circmstances!!

lol tommy - I did that too! Thought I was the only one.

They (not sure who 'they' are) do say to lie down and not move about too much afterwards so you give them a chance to swim up!

Thanks all for your advice, glad to hear all is normal. Will try the pelvis up to help or as cardy said stand on my head!
Trouble is i'm a bit funny about bodily fluids of any sort so am normally quick to be up and cleaned up. Maybe need to chill for a while to let them swim! And maybe invest in some plastic sheeting!! Yuck!

Yes, pillow under bottom and legs propped up the wall. Lie there as long as you can possibly get away with it!

Some leakage post sex is normal.

Actually legs in the air post sex is unnecessary. Its just another urban myth that's been banded about. The sperm do not need this sort of help!.

Enough sperm will get to the cervix from where it won't escape.
