Lump in armpit...

I'm going to call the Dr tomorrow but I'm really anxious and was hoping for some reassurance. The lump I've found I can only feel when lay on my left side. It sort of hangs down in to my arm pit when I'm lay down. I can't feel it in any other position. There was a feeling of discomfort a few nights ago when lay down and I found it. It seems to be able to move around but it is quite big, maybe about the size of an elongated 10p coin. There is some discomfort but I'm not sure if the lump itself is particularly sore. It's quite odd. I'm trying (and failing) not to freak out but I suffer with anxiety and have quite a few other health issues at the moment so not in the best mental or physical health. Has anyone experienced anything similar and it hasn't been anything sinister? I know two people who have had lymphoma recently so that is really playing on my mind.

I have those regularly, they come and go. I saw a doctor about this once and I can't remember what he said apart from the fact that is was nothing to worry about.

I used to get very large cysts/lumps on my underarms, turned out to be hidradenitis suppurativa.

(Fortunately laser sessions put it completely in remission)

Thanks @LiberteEgaliteBeyonce I hope this is the same.

@asd99 This lump is quite deep under the skin, sort of in the fatty tissue/ligament/tendon so not sure if it could be the condition you had. Glad it's gone in to remission for you though, sounds painful!
