I am in a dilemma about this. I can have an operation at Benenden Hospital in Kent as we pay into it.(£11.50 each a month) I have been offered an op if I want it but have come across some adverse reports on this keyhole surgery. It involves a general anaesthetic and small incisions in 3 different places but I have read that the surgeon must be very skilled and it might present more problems than traditional hernia surgery. Has anyone experience of this type of hernia op and would love to hear if your experiences. Benenden is a lovely hospital and is said to have had no Covid but I am now a little worried.
