Trying to stay away from google...
My wee is dark brown. I'm not dehydrated, have drank plenty today. Skin and eyes look a normal colour. Only other think not quite right is dizziness I've had for about a week, had blood test yesterday. Any ideas?

It could be something you've eaten or drank?

MargeSimpson00 · 26/02/2021 18:45

Not had anything out of the ordinary, bacon and egg on toast and about 7 cups of tea (average for me, normally drink between 6 and 10 a day)

Gallbladder? I had very dark brown pee while I was waiting for an semi-emergency cholecystectomy.

When you say you’ve drunk a lot how much do you mean? Because feeling dizzy and dark Brown wee generally do point to dehydration. If you’ve drunk loads you might have a fever that’s causing you to lose water through sweating perhaps? Have you been very busy / exercise / walking etc?

MargeSimpson00 · 26/02/2021 19:18

Wouldn't I be in pain if it was gallbladder?

I've had about 3l of fluid, I really don't think im dehydrated. I have an autoimmune disease (ulcerative colitis) and have just been put back on to immunosuppressants, I've been on them before though and didn't have this issue. I had thought the dizziness was maybe me adjusting to the medication

Sorry, didn't finish answering your post. No more active than usual, been in work, pretty quiet day tbh. No fever or sweating

are you urinating normally, as to frequency and volume ?
i think you should ring 111, OP.
that is def not normal, and if you are quite sure you have not eaten beetroot or something else in last 24 hrs that might cause this,
you need medical advice.
pls let us know how you get on.
good luck.

MargeSimpson00 · 26/02/2021 19:34

I think so, haven't noticed a change. I'm waiting until I need to go again to check and if it's still the same I'll give them a call.

If you're back on immunosuppressants,is there any chance you've got a uti? They don't always present with pain on urinating when taking these drugs.

MargeSimpson00 · 26/02/2021 20:03

Possible I suppose! I didn't know that

I would definitely dial 111. I started with brown wee last May and ended up in a and e. I don't want to scare you but my problem turned out to be breast cancer that had spread to my liver. Obviously mine was an extreme case but best to be safe and speak to a professional x

Oh god I'm so sorry, hope you're on the mend Flowers

My last wee looked far more normal so I'll see in the morning. If it's very dark again I will call, thank you.

Sounds like Urine infection

caringcarer · 28/02/2021 02:00

Kidney infection?

Ieatmarmite · 28/02/2021 12:41

Don't want to be alarmist but please chase up the blood results - I had brown wee and GP was insistent it was dehydration. I was drinking litres of water so knew it wasn't. Eventually he ordered a blood test that showed my liver enzymes were very high and I was admitted straight into hospital where a scan found a blockage in my bile duct. I was not having any pain in that region.
