Chest and arm pain

I've been getting a weird feeling in my arms for a few weeks how, it's sporadic and affects both of them, mainly down to my elbows.
Its like very sore pins and needles, but much most intesnse, it aches and feels like they are being squeezed. Its actually hard to explain.
It happened today and it felt like it started in the center of my chest and then shot done my arms. It really hurts as well as being a very weird feeling.
It usually lasts a few minutes then just disappears.
Any ideas?

I'd honestly call 111 or your GP. It could be any number of things but central chest pain with arm symptoms should be looked at. Good luck.

Chest pains?! A&E mate. It's only Thursday

Hi OP I would phone the doctor or go to A and E about it today. It's Thursday so they should be open. I wouldn't wait till Monday. Chest pains and hurting arms sounds like a heart attack type symptoms. Sorry to be alarmist.

I thought it was friday
I don't think I'm having a heart attack it's been happening for about 3 weeks and it my arms which are the most sore. Today was the first it felt like my chest.
I have Lupus and get chest pain quite a lot.

OP I think you should aim to get checked out. At least you have a day back now. Try to get an appointment for tomorrow?

I went into a horrendous Lupus flare last night and have costochondritis so that explains the chest pain.
