Sore leg

I am experiencing a sore leg. Its just on one side. It's hard to explain what I am experiencing. I don't have an injury. My leg has some moving pains. One minute it's below my kneww, the next it could be in my thigh or hip. It's very strange. It's a dull aching pain. It's nearly stiff and heavy but I moved about this morning.

I will be going to the doctor when I get an appointment. Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same. It's not covid related. I am not sick. I ha e my contacts low and there. Is no one sick. I got second dose of vaccine last week. Doubt its connected to that second dose of vaccine. I'm approaching 40. I took ibuprofen but it hasn't responded to ibuprofen.

Sounds like it could be nerve pain. I get that as a moving toothache feeling in my leg, pulses

That sounds a lot like it alright. I will be making an appointment with my doctor anyways. If my leg could have a fever, this would be the feeling. Do you if you have a fever you can feel it in your head. This is the feeling I am experiencing in my leg. Its a dull type of travelling heaviness. The big isn't big or tremendous but there's something not right.

Sounds just like when I have a trapped nerve in my piriformous muscle (deep in the bum cheek). It traps the nerve which radiates down your leg. I sit on a tennis ball to relieve it or do some slow rising squats opening up the glutes

Trapped nerve. I currently have one on my neck - so although my neck is completely pain free, the pain runs down my right arm causing tingling, heaviness, intermittent pain in various places etc

Normal Painkillers don't touch nerve pain btw. I am dealing with mine by seeing a physiotherapist (saw on Monday) and will see again next Monday. Doing the exercises they've given me. I had an e consult with a dr and have been prescribed amitriptyline to take at night.

I don't know if you need a physical appointment with a dr - unless you suspect something sinister or not a trapped nerve. I'd see a physio or google exercises for a trapped nerve and ask for the correct painkillers

I have a yoga ball at home so I will sit on that tonight and do some exercises and see if that helps. The pain isn't bad thank goodness. It's a very mild, dull ache but I know something isn't 100%.

Funnily enough I have similar at the moment. It started in my hip a few days ago and is now more the outside of my lower leg, just below the knee - but only when I go from lying or sitting to standing and it does walk off. I spoke to the doctor yesterday and she said it sounded like the sciatic nerve might be irritated and prescribed me naproxen and 6 x 2mg tablets of diazepam in case of muscle spasm and to call back if it changed / got worse.
