Fluctuating Thyroid Levels

I have been having regular blood tests to monitor my thyroid levels over the past 9 months. At my last appointment my GP mentioned my TSH was normal but my T4 was low and I was to have one final blood test to determine the next steps. This has been the same throughout all other blood tests and I have other symptoms which my GP said are linked.

I had a blood test yesterday, according to receptionist GP has reviewed and they are within the normal range. Has anyone had any experience of this? I’ve asked for a telephone appointment to review.

I would ask them to let you know your actual figures... ‘normal’ levels vary quite a bit and some people find they only feel right when their levels are at the lower range of what is considered clinically ok. With the numbers you can understand things a bit more... plus then it gives you a baseline for any future tests Smile

Mines been up and down for 16yrs but I have Thyroid antibodies. Its never gone over or under active as yet. At one point it was borderline overactive, then closer to normal a few months later. They just keep checking it every so often.
