I'm thinking it will just come out the other end in due course, I dont need to actually do anything, do I?

I think you need to check each bowel movement until you see it. I wouldn't be able to just leave it and hope for the best.

How old is ds? How big was the pebble? Was it rounded or were there any sharp sides to it?

DumbledoresGirl · 04/11/2007 14:49

Oh just checked your profile. Ds is 19 months old? So still in nappies? Should be easier to check then!

JeremyVile · 04/11/2007 14:52

Yeah, 19 months.
It was one of those really little, pea-sized ones. Very smooth, no edges.

Dd did this 2 weeks ago. The night before her birthday party. With a polished 'gem' stone that was about 3cm long, 2cm wide and 1cm deep. Plus she's 5 now and should know better! Anyhow we panicked but she was fine and yes, it miraculously turned up shining through one of her best productions in the toilet a few days later. She was keen to retrieve it. Needless to say I didn't oblige.

Cheers ladies, I'll keep an eye out.
