Has hayfever season started already?

I am new to all this - developed it in adulthood, and last year was terrible from March until October. I have the drugs now ready and waiting and my asthma cough is bad this week so I wondered whether it is possible to be hayfever already and therefore whether I should take the drugs?

Yes, tree pollen has started as it's got a like warmer I believe.
I now take my antihistamine year round.
