Pillow drenched at night - why??

For a month or so I've been waking up most nights with my pillow absolutely soaked through.

I wake up with a bad headache which I'm pretty sure is from dehydration too.

I've already been on HRT for a couple of years, relatively early menopause, so I am not sure if this could be hormones?

Has anyone else experienced this? It's literally just the last 3-4 weeks, and I'm baffled, miserable, and it's obviously affecting my sleep.

Any ideas? Cheers.

Hi there. Could be a thyroid thing. A friend of mine has this, and that is the cause. Worth asking your GP.

I take a med called Clonidine to control it because it happened to me too.

Thanks Spuds, that's interesting. I've made an appt with the GP for Wednesday.

Brill, did the doctor say what they actually thought it was? Looking up the drug, it looks as if it's used for a million different things!

Thanks both!

I dribble and that can make mine wet.

I'm postmenopausal and still occasionally wake to a drenched pillow. It's horrible. I was going to ask your age and then suggest HRT, but I see you are already on it. It's the sort of unpleasant thing your hormones can do to you.

If I were you I'd up my water consumption for the dehydration and I'd book an appointment with my GP.
