Bulge in stomach

First time poster so please bare with me. I'm in my 20s and recently discovered a bulge below my belly button when I'm laying down. When I suck my stomach in it becomes more prominent but if I press is it disappears. I'm on the implant and have regular periods and no pregnancy symptoms I have done multiple tests and all have come back negative. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be ? I have a doctors appointment on Monday but I can't stop worrying about it.

My dh has Diastasis recti where the stomach muscles separate, your symptoms sound similar to that.

Or it could be a kind of hernia. There is one that manifests near the navel I think - if you Google it should be more specific.

Could it be an abdominal hernia?

Definitely sounds like a hernia to me.

I Googled out of curiosity in the end 😳 It's just called an umbilical hernia, the one I was thinking of.

Here's the NHS page about them.
