Botox for Bruxism

Has anyone had botix for bruxism and has it worked? I have had a mouth guard at night for a few years but clenching and grinding my teeth continues... with migraines and more damage to my teeth. Saw the dentist today who is referring me for botox. Has anyone had this and did it work? Can I also sneakily ask for my 11s to be done at the same time ;) Honestly though the jaw aches and head aches need to stop...

I’ve been suffering with this for nearly 2 years now and it’s awful! It’s getting me down. I’ve tried mouthguards, hypnotherapy, muscle relaxants from the doctors, braces to close a gap from knocking a tooth out and also to align my teeth to see if that will help and I had Botox at the hospital 10 days ago. I can just today feel the constant tension in my jaw start to ease so fingers crossed as I really can’t take this anymore!

@RunningOnMusic
did this help? I have just had it done today and I’m praying it takes the headaches away x
