I've jyst had a "routine" mammogram for the first time (45 yrs old, family history of breast cancer), and I accidentally caught a glimpse of the screen on my way out. It looked like there was a white patch (quite long and thin) on the mammogram, and I'm worried that it means I've got cancer. Is it possible/normal to have whate patches?
As far as I can tell I don't have any lumps (although tbh I'm not as vigorous/ firm as I should be when I'm examining my boobs), but I have had some tenderness for the last week (at an unusual time in my cycle).
I don't want to go looking on google, as I know I'll freak myself out!
