So, today I dyed my hair and also used a new foundation, which you think has caused my face to start burning ??

Had never used either brand before. Dye was a loreal one i think, and the make up was Boots 17 brand.

Face seemed fine when I put it on this morning and likewise was fine after I had my hair dyed. However, when I washed my face this afternoon and reapplied make up again my face started burning a tiny bit.

Have just had a bath and washed face again, and now it is burning quite a bit and is a bit red.

i would say foundation..

lucykate · 01/11/2007 19:22

i would guess the foundation, if it was the hair dye your scalp would be most affected. sounds like what happened to me after using oil of ulay, face went all tingly and tight, was red for a few days and doc prescribed a hydra cortisone (sp?) cream

nutcracker · 01/11/2007 19:23

Yep thats it, feels very tight and tingly. I thought it was probably the foundation.

Bugger

Dropdeadfred · 01/11/2007 19:24

as kit was after you washed it could be a combination of the soap/cleanser you used and the foundation..as you said your face was fine til you washed it?

nutcracker · 01/11/2007 19:25

It did feel slightly stingy this morning tbh, but i just thought it was because i hadn't used it before.
