Make my eye better?! Any tips

Got a hideous eye. Nurse practitioner says use conjunctivitis stuff for 5 days. Anything else? Tried teabags, antihistamine, cold compress. It's so blooming sore and I guess working on a screen won't help.

Yowser that looks painful! How long have you been using the conjunctivitis stuff for?

Is there a lump/pus in there do you think? If so you could try a hot compress - soak flannel in as hot water as you can bear, hold it on until it’s cool, repeat over and over for ages.

Surely that's a Sty? Not conjunctivitis? Have you got redness plus discharge? Either option, horrible but get some further, medical advice - it's your eyes, ffs!!

P.s throw out any eye makeup! Best wishes (again), it does look sore!

It's mildly better today. Used hot compress last night. If no better later I'll call back GP. Like you say it's my eye, I only get one !
