Head dent never noticed before ...

Hi All, I found a small dent in my head top right just before my crown. I have never noticed this before don’t even know how I came across it last night. It’s hard, no pain I don’t often suffer from headaches or anything. Has anyone else got this? I’m not sure if I’ve always had it and just not noticed. Should never have googled it as now I’m terrified I have something seriously wrong !

Strange isn't it!? I found a dent last November at the top of my forehead on the left, just in front of my hairline. I'd never noticed it before.
The GP asked for a photo, said she'd seen a few of them over the years and they were never anything to worry about but booked me in for an X-ray. I had that and it came back fine, so that was it.
Just in case I'd ask your GP.

@augustusglupe thanks for the reply. It’s really strange my partner is telling me I’m being stupid it’s probs always been there but I think I would have noticed Confused I phoned and can only get an appointment with the nurse a week today Sad I really don’t know what it could be

I'm sure you'll be ok, but the nurse will know what to do.
My DH was a bit dismissive about it too, but I don't think he wanted me to worry, which I was.
If you do a search on here, there have been quite a few posts about dents before x

My mum has one of these that has got gradually bigger. It’s like where a head band would go. Gp completely unconcerned.

@Haggisfish has she ever had any tests done ? Mines is top right hand side of my head I can fit my finger tip in the indent I’m sure I would have noticed it before that’s what’s scaring me. Apart from that no other issues

I have this too, it's weird! Asked doctor years ago and they said it was nothing Nd not to worry!

I have this too. Seems to be where I put my glasses on my head. So I think its not a dent its where the sides are raised up slightly. Do you ever wear hair bands or sunglasses on you head?

Hopefully the Nurse will tell me it’s nothing as well 🙈 I could of had it for years and just never noticed it. Nope I don’t wear glasses on my head, I do wear hair bands but not where the dent has formed! It’s not soft or anything either it’s hard, I should never have googled it 😳 made me think I’ve got a tumour or something 😩🙈 lol
