Slow weight gain and green poo (formula baby)

I know this has probably been done to death on MN, but I haven't got the energy to trawl through the threads .

DD2 is 27 weeks and weighs 14 pounds 12. She weighed 6 pounds 11 when born, and was always on the 25th centile. However she has now dropped to the 9th centile and the HV's are sniffing around which is fine.

The other thing to mention, is that from about the age of 2 weeks, her poo has been green. I have read somewhere that green poo can be a sign of food going through the digestive system too quickly.

I am now wondering whether she has an intolerance to milk protein.

Can someone come along who has had experience of this and put my mind at rest... please!!!!

We are going back to be weighed in 2 weeks, and if there is no change we will be referred, which tbh I am happy to do. I hate not having the answers!

Thank you

On average babies double their birth weight by 6 months which your lo has so her weight gain sounds ok to me. Re: green poo - formula can routinely turn poo green and isnt a sign that anything is wrong. If it is runny smelly diarrhoea then that is a different issue, but if the only issue is that it is green then it doesnt sound like problem with intolerance. My dd and ds were both formula fed and their poos were a multitude of colours going from yellow to khaki to green. If your lo seems reasonably content between feeds, does not seem to be in pain, etc then I dont think you have anything to worry about.
