from a dim & distant memory of 10 years ago about 4-6 weeks.

TheQueenOfQuotes · 31/10/2007 20:18

DS1 - BF - 10 months
DS2 - FF - 7 months
DS3 - exclusive FF for 3 weeks, and one or 2 feeds a day until he was 4 months old - 3 months

Santasmissyontheside · 31/10/2007 20:38

Oh right. Queen of quotes what a varied range! With dd1 i bf for 6 months stopped and they returned straight away! Dd2 now just over 7 weeks old and no sign. I thought i was going to because i had the familiar ovulating cramp. But we've not been using any precautions.

6 weeks both times for me too. DD exclusively breastfed, ds mixed fed.

CarGirl · 31/10/2007 20:57

My 2nd & 3rd were both full bf - with the 3rd my periods after 6 weeks..........I don't think there really is a rule whether FF or Bf but still perhaps you should do a pregnancy test, you can be fertile straight away especially if you are FF - I think you are actually often hyper fertile straight afterwards.

VoodooLULUmama · 31/10/2007 20:59

Santasmissyontheside · 31/10/2007 21:02

Santasmissyontheside · 31/10/2007 21:34

Yeah if she doesn't want them then they are yours. I'll let you know. With regards to pg no idea! We are trying and without tmi were at it like rabbits i thought even thinking about it was ridiculous

OP posts:
CarGirl · 31/10/2007 21:43

we started trying when dd2 was 3/4 months and we thought that was mad

charleymouse · 31/10/2007 21:54

Eighteen months DD BF
Six months on and still no sign DS BF
So only 4 Af in 44 months result!

Santasmissyontheside · 31/10/2007 21:57

Lol at dh. Funny how mad on sex you get when you try isn't it. As soon as you fall your like well thats that dirty deed done! we are kind of just seeing what happens iykwim? No rush but wouldn't be end of world. With both dd's its taken between 4 and six months to fall
